The latest tournament results from 2017.
The last tournament we attended was the South Hills Development Tournament in Johannesburg.
Coming off an unlucky loss at Southern Giants last year, we were happy to see O’Conner Dreyer back in the ring and ready to take on his next opponent. After what was a very long day and an extremely long wait, Connor stepped up to the ring and despite being ill managed to walk away with an impressive win. His record stands now at 3-3 and we expect great things from this talented young fighter.
We had another fight later that evening with the Basement’s Wesley Tiel taking on a very tough opponent from Pretoria, the fight was stopped in the third round after Wesley received a cut to the upper lip, requiring two stitches, he, unfortunately, lost the bout but put up a good fight and never gave up. Wes will definitely be back in the ring once he is recovered and fit again. We wish him a speedy recovery.
*Update: Both Wesley and Connor are back at the gym and training for their next fights. Hard Work Dedication.
We are looking forward to 2018’s opportunities and are happy to see more guys stepping up to fight.
